Didn’t think I’d get much done today after getting a late start, but everything hummed along and before I knew it, I was closing in on 3K. Forgot to say that this is my highest daily word count in the dare so far.
Started a new chapter where stuff is starting to go haywire (for the characters) and move fast. Should slip past 35K tomorrow and edge close that 40K mark. I think this draft might come in around 65K or 70K. So, it might be a close race for me to finish it by Halloween. And even if I go past by a few days, a done draft is still a done draft. 🙂
* I screwed up something in my spreadsheet. Alas, I have misreported this number. Total wordage is correct, but my daily word count is revised.
