Sitting here staring at the screen. I just typed the last line of book. At 60,485 words over 29 days, this draft is finished. I’m feeling a little numb and sad right now. I’ve got a lot more work to do on this one before it will be complete, but that first ride is always my favorite part. And the fact that I’ve been living in this world for 29 straight days. No wine tonight, but maybe tomorrow night after that sad feeling dissipates a bit. And I remember the happy part about the fact that there’s a book 4 and a book 5 and a book 6. Wow. I finished book 3. Two days early. Who knew?
